Promens Dalvik is where the roots of Promens lie. Established under the name Sæplast in 1984 in Dalvik in northern Iceland, the company has led the development of rotationally molded, double walled, insulated plastic containers for the fishing and fish processing industries. Today the product line has been extended to include containers used by almost all sectors of the food processing industry, as well as a line of rotationally molded pallets, septic tanks and road gullies. The key products from Promens Dalvik can still be recognized by their original brand name, Sæplast.
